PEAR Webcourse released!

Consciousness and the Physical World is dedicated to the development of collaborative resources for teaching and learning about consciousness. We invite your feedback and participation as teachers and students of consciousness.

The first course that we have developed is based on the work of the PEAR lab to provide a concise introduction to the foundational research of the emerging Science of the Subjective. An expansion of the currently available material is being geared to create an inclusive survey course on consciousness. If you are have taught a course on consciousness, we'd love to see your curriculum!

Consciousness and the Physical World is a participatory project. If you'd like to help by developing materials or donating, please Contact Us.

The PEAR webcourse at Consciousness and the physical world is available at: PEAR Orientation

Close to finished

The content of the PEAR section should be just about done. I just finished reformatting it, and dealing w/ some navigation and image display issues. Just some forum theme issues left to go.

Recent Articles on PEAR

I was wondering what kind of news coverage PEAR is getting these days, more than two years after it's closing. So, I signed up for GoogleAlerts (external link) (cache) to get an idea about some recent mentions:

Setup

I'm in the process of setting up the bare bones structures to house the webcourse "Consciousness and the Physical World." In the future, this blog will be used to communicate major updates to the webcourse or other content on this site.
