The Course
Consciousness and the Physical World is a developing webcourse geared toward university, post-graduate, or adult students looking for a comprehensive introduction to consciousness studies. It is also a resource for teachers to collaborate on Consciousness studies curricula.
Consciousness and the Physical World is designed to provide a foundation in current consciousness research and the Science of the Subjective. One ((Webcourse+Future|goal)) of this project is to become a multi-disciplinary and inclusive curriculum that brings together the broad range of perspectives on consciousness today. However, the first implementations and early development of this course will focus on creating web resources that deal with scientific studies of consciousness (particularly
anomalous phenomena) that are often unrepresented in mainstream academic presentations of consciousness studies.
CPW, as a multi-disciplinary course, will focus on finding the common ground among the assemblage of disciplines, and how these disparate disciplines refine and advance our understanding of consciousness.
